On November 18, 2023, the “Ukraine Support & Renovation” Foundation and the “Open Embrace” Association organized a visit to Ukrainian children and adolescents from Sofia to Plovdiv.

They visited the Ancient Theater, the Roman Stadium, and the Bishop’s Basilica, where they touched the world’s mosaic heritage from the Roman era and plunged into interactive games for discovering archaeological artifacts and building mosaics on the floor.

With the assistance of the Honorary Consulate of Ukraine in Plovdiv, children and young people visited the Dimitar Georgiev Museum Gallery, where they got to know the works of over 130 Bulgarian artists who worked between the two world wars. They were also extremely impressed to see the famous work by Dimitar Kazakov – Nero with an image of Grigory Tsamblag, ordained as the first Metropolitan of Kyiv (1413).
