He attended the NAA /1953-1957/, and later immigrated to Paris. Together with his wife Jeanne-Claude, he created multiple installations rendered by wrapping various elements – from single objects to buildings, bridges and even islands. His sketches and their draft drawings are highly regarded. Some of the early works from his university days, though not many in number, are still preserved in Bulgaria – paintings and drawings.
