He attended the NAA /1896/. Following Prof. Boris Schwartz’s recommendation, he continued his education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Paris /1903-1907/ under Prof. Antonin Mercié. After 1927, he made his permanent return to Bulgaria. Staroselski produced bronze and stone sculptures, as well as easel and monumental works in all genres, including animalism. His work, in its entirety,built a bridge between European tradition of sculpture /after the manner of Auguste Rodin/ and Bulgarian modern sculpture of the 20th century.
