Vazova, Elisaveta Konsulova

She graduated from the NAA /1902/ under Prof. Yaroslav Veshin. She specialized in portrait painting in Munich. Portrait was her main line of work. Her manner resembles that of impressionists. Many of her paintings were painted en plein air. A number of eminent public figures posed as her models.
Velkov, Simeon
(Simeon Velkov Belishki)

He obtained a degree in painting from the NAA /1920/ under Prof. Ivan Mrkvička. He worked as a professor at the NAA between 1926 and 1947. Portraits, landscapes, compositions and illustrations prevailed in his work.
Věšín, Jaroslav František
*1860 — 1915†
He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague under professors A. Lhota and F. Sekvens. He specialized at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Munich /1881-1883/ under professors Karl Piloty, Otto Seitz and Józef Brandt. Up until 1897, he resided in Munich, after which he was invited to teach at the NAA /1897-1904/. As an artist, he made a great contribution to the foundation and development of the genres of landscape, war and genre painting.
