CONCERT OF THE LOBKOVIC TRIO IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE XXV AUSTRIAN MUSIC WEEKS

2021.09.21

19:00

Austrian Music Weeks presents an exceptional program as part of the 25th anniversary edition. On September 21, 2021, at 19:00, a concert of the Lobkowitz Trio Vienna was held at Museum Gallery “Dimitar Georgiev” Plovdiv. Fascinated by the richness of timbres and inspired by the repertoire of this not-so-traditional trio format – flute, viola and piano – Wali Haze (flute), Srebra Geleva (piano) and Robert Bauerstater (viola) founded the Lobkowitz Trio in 2021. The idea for the trio’s name comes from the Serenade for Piano Forte, Flute and Viola, composed by Josef Rössler, bandmaster of Prince Lobkowitz in Vienna in the 18th century. In addition to other compositions for this musical formation, the concert programs of the Lobkowitz Vienna Trio are enriched with duets and solo works from different musical eras (from K. F. E. Bach to M. Durufle).

The three musicians live in Vienna and work in two of the most famous music institutions in the city, the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and the Vienna Philharmonic.
