The portraits are part of the permanent exhibition of the Dimitar Georgiev Museum Gallery – Plovdiv. The portrait on the left depicts H.V. Tsar Boris III dressed in a guards uniform and wearing the necklace and star of the highest honor of the Kingdom of Bulgaria – the Order of St.St. Cyril and Methodius”. It was painted by hud. Dimo Sotirov. A lot of such portraits and photos have remained in the archives. The other portrait, on the right, was painted by Hud. Yanko Atanasov. H.V. Tsar Boris III is visibly young and posed for the artist wearing a guards uniform of which no archival photographs remain. This makes the piece of art extremely rare.
