“Art for Peace” is the title of an exhibition with the participation of Ukraininan graphic artists from Israel , which will be opened in the Art Gallery of the “Ivan Vazov” National Library – Plovdiv.

The initiative is a joint work of Dimitar Georgiev Gallery, Ukraine Support and Renovation and Ivan Vazov National Library. The works are donated by the authors for a charitable purpose. Children’s drawings are also exhibited among them.

Paintings by the authors presented in the exhibition are owned by museums and private collections around the world. The exhibition can be seen until July 25, and a day later a charity auction will be organized with the paintings.

The funds collected will go towards the equipment and renovation of the Children’s Center for Ukrainian children who fled the war. In addition to the graphics, the auction will also include drawings of Ukrainian and Bulgarian children.
The drawings are very different and show what the child’s soul experiences, which has experienced the war, but at the same time is a free soul that longs for peace”, commented curator Prof. Emilia Konstantinova to Radio Plovdiv.
