The Dimitar Georgiev Collection is a result of the over 30-year collecting activity of Eng. Dimitar Georgiev.

The creating of the gallery “Dimitar Georgiev” is a natural continuation of his public, philanthropic activity and support of the arts. The venue building is a cultural monument, specially designed to present works of art in various aspects.

The great passion, love and knowledge of its creator are the main driving forces behind the idea to share this collection with the public. The collection contains works by over 370 Bulgarian authors who have lived and worked not only in Bulgaria but also around the world, whose work is undoubtedly part of the European cultural heritage.
