Connoisseurs of classical music had the opportunity to hear two virtuoso piano sonatas composed by two of the most famous geniuses in 19th century music. – Robert Schumann and Johannes Brahms – and inspired by the muse Clara Schumann, whose early plays were presented at the beginning of the program. Remaining in history among the greatest masterpieces of German Romanticism, these works are variegated with a rich emotional palette of influential contrasts and bright themes, deeply exciting, full-blooded and life-affirming.
Maria-Desislava Stoycheva is a student of Prof. Lyudmil Angelov and winner of a number of awards and distinctions from international competitions. He has performed at various music forums in Europe, the United States and Asia. In 2016 was chosen by the listeners of the Bulgarian National Radio to receive the Young Musician of the Year award. He is the winner of the First and Special Prize of the prestigious competition “Pancho Vladigerov”.
