The first solo exhibition of the artist Sabi Gavrailov under the title “Roots” will be presented in Dimitar Georgiev Gallery. The exposition will contain selected oil canvases of the author, painted in the last three years and inspired by his hometown Brezovo, where the Bulgarian artist Zlatyu Boyadzhiev was also born. The adoration for the work of the great master of the brush is the basis of the author’s choice to dedicate this exhibition to the 120th anniversary of Zlatyu Boyadzhiev birth. Visitors will have the opportunity to see a portrait of Zlatyu Boyadzhiev by Sabi Gavrailov, along with pastoral landscapes from the town of Brezovo and several still lifes.
Sabi Gavrailov strongly believes that his talent comes from the roots of the family, connected to the personality of Zlatyu Boyadzhiev.

Sabi Gavrailov lives and works in Hemel Hempstead, Great Britain. In recent years he has contributed works to several community exhibitions as an active member of the Hertfordshire Area Visual Arts Organisation. His paintings have won the ‘Visitors’ Choice Painting Award’ at the Harpenden Art Club Annual Exhibitions for two consecutive years – 2021 and 2022.
